Street Cleansing Operative

Role Description

We are looking for a Street Cleansing Operative to join our dedicated team in Street Cleansing. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

Responsibilities

• Undertake environmental work such as removal of litter, fly tipping and graffiti from the street scene.
• Assist in the provision of remedial grounds maintenance work such as grass cutting, hedge cutting, use of strimmers, blowers and weed-spraying.
• Be responsible for issued PPE. Also responsible either individually or as a team for tools and equipment.
• Assist in the disposal of waste at designated household waste sites.
