Purpose of the Role

As the Strategy Partner in the Digital Strategy & Planning team, you will lead the development and execution of the strategic roadmap across Europe for one of Carat's largest clients-an international hotel chain. With a solid background in strategy and/or planning and deep expertise in digital media, you will play a pivotal role in achieving the client's strategic goals.

In this senior client leadership position, you'll oversee a team of strategists and planners, ensuring their work aligns with client objectives while fostering strong, lasting relationships. You will also contribute to new business efforts, leading strategic planning and supporting creative ideation from the outset. Additionally, you'll champion innovative digital media approaches, helping to elevate the agency's overall digital capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the most senior client stakeholders and Client Leadership to understand the client challenge - define objectives and key performance indicators.

Drive agency narrative & lead innovative use of digital media channels.

Management of 1 or 2 members of the digital strategy & planning team.

Critically assess and interpret consumer behaviour and its economic, technical and psychological context to derive insights.

Partner with senior client stakeholders to define longer-term strategic priorities

Develop a clear campaign strategy and justify its expected delivery against client objectives and/ or key performance indicators

Define highly effective Channel Planning briefs and work with Channel Planners to deliver a truly integrated and holistic media strategyacross all media channels.

Work with Channel Planners to review the opportunities and applications for channel developments and emerging channels

Qualifications + Skills

Demonstrated experience in a strategic role within a media agency environment

In-depth expertise in media planning, with a strong focus on digital media

Proven ability working across multiple markets

Skilled in collecting, interpreting, and analysing complex data sets to drive insights

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at all levels - both internally and externally
