Project description: The new Energy Asset Supplier Strategy department aims to maximize the value of the Energy Assets through our strategic suppliers by way of contract negotiations, supplier performance management and relationship management.
With a planned project duration from now until approximately middle of 2026, latest end of 2026, the Energy Asset Supplier Strategy department plans to set up a new structure, processes and products in order to meet all customer's requirements in a lean and cost-efficient way.
Task (performed independently):
? Analysis of the as-is situation of the strategic supplier landscape in Energy Assets by taking into consideration the project requirements based on own professional knowledge and experience. This includes:
? Assessment of who the top strategic suppliers are and what contractual documents and additional documentation are available, in order to assess in the next step what is needed in addition and which documents need to be amended.
? In this context, creation of a proposal for a segmentation Matrix for the top strategic suppliers
? Documentation of the results of the assessment in written form and handing over of a proposal to the Energy Asset Supplier Strategy department for a sign-off and further use, incl. additional documents that are required based on the results of the previous analysis.
? Professional consultation of strategic supplier managers by preparation of contract negotiations with strategic suppliers:
? The preparation includes the gathering of the (technical) demand and the strategy of the negotiation. This includes gathering of feedback from the key stakeholders in Energy Assets and preparation of a proposal for a negotiation strategy based on own evaluation of scope and expertise
? Documentation of the proposal in written form and handing over of the proposal to the project leads for the negotiation, who will lead the negotiation.
? Planning and organization of strategic meetings (online) with a top strategic supplier and the Senior Leadership team based on own evaluation of scope and necessary number.
? This includes gathering of information about the performance of the strategic supplier and the relevant topics for the meeting, as well as a proposal of the agenda
? Documentation of the results and handing over to the client for further use
? Design, review, and maintenance of contract contents/documentations with the aim of checking the compliance and timeline targets provided by the client in advance
? Review and conduction of an analysis of the contract status regarding negotiated milestones from external vendors:
? Consultation with regard to possible measures in case there are deviations from the contracts in terms of milestones and timelines
? The analysis includes documenting of the results and presentation of the results, and a recommendation on how to handle the deviations (if there is one) to the relevant internal stakeholders in a meeting (online) and in written form
? Creation of surveys (content & technical solution) for the internal organization with the aim of gathering the service satisfaction level: Coordination and organization of respective communication, analysis & identification of the target audience in Energy Assets. This includes documentation of the results on our Sourcing Portal.
