Strategic Leader, Planning & Building Control

Walsall Council is seeking a strategic Head of Planning and Building Control to lead the planning service through a period of significant transformation. You will shape growth, safeguard design quality and contribute to the We Are Walsall 2040 vision.

This senior role requires proven leadership, delivery of service improvement and the ability to grow discretionary services such as Planning Performance Agreements and Building Control, while delivering a high quality customer experience.
