Are you ready to lead the way in property strategy? As a Strategic Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Council's Property Strategy and Strategic Asset Management Plans. You will be the go-to person for Members and departments on property development matters, ensuring we have the right property in the right place. In this exciting role, you will:- Support Strategic Planning: Lead the development and delivery of the Council's Property Strategy.
- Optimise Asset Use: Ensure optimal use of Council land and property assets to meet our goals.
- Collaborate with Services: Work closely with outward-facing service areas to understand and fulfil their property needs.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Be the first contact point for Members and departments regarding property development.
- Coordinate with Teams: Collaborate with the wider property and Corporate Landlord team on operational estate matters and projects.
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of property management and strategic planning.
- Experience in working with local government or public sector organisations.
- Proven ability to analyse and interpret property data effectively.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing solutions.
