Salary: £12,988

Location: Hull (with occasional travel to Barnsley & Bradford)

Hours: 20 hours per week (Wednesday-Friday, early starts)

Work Schedule:

• Wednesday: 5:00am - 9:00am
• Thursday: 5:00am - 1:30pm (30-minute break)
• Friday: 5:00am - 1:30pm (30-minute break)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Storesperson / Workshop Technician to join our East Yorkshire Field Operations team on a part-time basis. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining depot operations, managing stock, and supporting workshop activities. You'll play a key role in ensuring our technicians have the equipment and materials they need to deliver an excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload internal deliveries using a forklift truck (FLT training provided)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
• Manage stock levels and process stock orders
• Support workshop activities, including equipment verification and repairs (training provided)
• Move equipment between regional depots as required
• Ensure high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance are maintained
• Support wider operational needs and complete all required documentation

About You

• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• Can work independently and use your own initiative
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
• Has good communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude

Essential Requirements

• Full, clean driving licence
• Ability to work early morning shifts
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check

Desirable (but not essential)

• FLT licence or warehouse experience (training provided)
• Previous experience in a stores, logistics, or workshop environment
