Career Key Responsibilities / "What you'll do"

The jobholder will ensure that transactions are completed in a timely fashion to maintain the accuracy of inventory and also work with other departments to help root cause and resolve receiving and picking issues.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • To ensure the timely receipt/issue of all incoming/outgoing goods on the Oracle system.
  • To maintain Excel tracking spreadsheets for incoming or outgoing goods.
  • To work with other departments to root cause and resolve any stores issues.
  • Create pick lists and deal with daily production requests.
  • Create and amend default receiving locations to ensure ongoing accuracy of inventory.
  • Work with the Inventory analyst in the root cause of stock inaccuracies from daily cycle counts.
  • Highlight potential stock control issues and work in the continuous improvement of all stores processes to maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service to other internal departments and external suppliers.
Qualifications / Education
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs grades A to C including English and Maths or equivalent.
Experience Level
  • Experience of MRP systems.
  • Previous experience using stock control systems.
  • Previous admin experience.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A good standard of IT skills with demonstrable experience of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a "can do make it happen" attitude is essential.
  • Position requires high attention to detail and accuracy of information.
  • Ability to work with others to meet strict deadlines and be steady under pressure.
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem solving.

Reporting to the Senior Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for the receiving/issuing of incoming goods on the Oracle system and the daily maintenance of tracker spreadsheets.
