• Lead by example, delivering excellent customer service and sales.
• Support and motivate the team throughout the trading day.
• Take responsibility for the shop floor and day-to-day store operations when required.
• Help the team achieve sales targets and identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Recommend the right bikes, clothing and accessories for riders of all levels.
• Handle customer enquiries and help resolve issues confidently and professionally.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation and cleanliness.
• Support stock control and general store operations.
• Assist with basic bike builds and pre-delivery checks.
• Keep the team informed on products, promotions and the latest cycling technology.
• Work closely with store management to ensure the business runs smoothly

What We're Looking For:

• Previous retail experience, ideally with some supervisory or team-leading responsibility.
• A genuine passion for bikes and cycling.
• Good knowledge of bicycles, components and basic cycle maintenance.
• A confident communicator who is comfortable leading and supporting others.
• A strong commercial mindset with an understanding of sales and customer service.
• Organised, dependable and able to take responsibility when required.
• Comfortable using POS systems and in-store technology.
• A proactive, hands-on approach - someone who leads from the front

Sales Opportunity Available - Rotherham

Location: JE James Cycles - Rotherham

Hours: Friday-Saturday & Sunday

Pay: Under 21: £11.00 per hour 21 and Over: £13.17 per hour

What You'll Do:

• Welcome customers with a positive, friendly attitude
• Recommend the right bikes, clothing, and accessories for riders of all levels
• Upsell and advise to help enhance the customer's cycling experience
• Support the team with store presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness
• Assist with basic bike builds and pre-delivery checks
• Work closely with your teammates to meet store goals
• Keep up to date with the latest cycling tech and trends

What We're Looking For:

• A genuine passion for bikes and cycling culture
• Hands-on knowledge of cycle builds and maintenance
• A confident communicator who enjoys talking to customers
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable using POS and in-store tech
• Previous retail or customer service experience is great - but not essential
• A strong team player with a proactive, can-do mindset
