Store Supervisor - Timberland, Braintree, Essex

We're looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Store Supervisor (permanent, full time 40h) to join our Timberland team based in Braintree, Essex.

Role Overview

As a supervisor in our store, you will act as the vital link between store management and the sales associates, driving service and sales. This entry level management position supports the Store and Assistant Store Manager and focuses on creating a fantastic customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management team to drive sales and profitability.
  • Coach and motivate the sales associates to deliver high levels of customer service, ensuring the store is always customer ready.
  • Ensure the store looks great, maintaining all retail operation standards in line with brand visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Understand and work toward the store's KPIs to achieve them.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a hands on, enthusiastic, and passionate approach.
  • Experience opening and closing a store and taking responsibility when necessary.
  • Retail background, ideally with fashion or lifestyle experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (additional language a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
  • Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to live and demonstrate Timberland's guiding principles: Integrity, Courage, Curiosity, Empathy, Perseverance.
