STORE PERSON/DRIVER - LONDON DISTRICT CADET TRAINING TEAM

This Vacancy operates from the Army Reserve Centre, Portsmouth Road, Kingston Upon Thames, KTl 2QX.

The appointment calls for a probationary period of six (6) months, after the satisfactory completion of which the position will become permanent.

The store person/driver, at Skills Zone 2, is employed by the Association to provide logistic support to the London District Cadet Training Team. This includes attendance at the Combined Cadet Force Central Camp in the summer.

The salary for this position, (including the London Weighting Allowance), is £27,849.

The job description, including the required competencies is attached. In addition, the successful candidate is eligible to join the Association pension scheme. The annual leave entitlement is 25 days plus Bank

Holidays and Association Privilege Days in accordance with RFCA Staff Regulations.

Offers of employment will be conditional on the following:

• Confirmation of the right to work in the UK;
• Completion of a medical assessment which may include a full medical examination by a qualified medical practitioner appointed and paid for by the Association;
• Successful completion of Baseline Personal Security Standards (BPSS) check;
• Enhanced DBS check (due to working with young people);
