Store Manager - AGA

We're looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead an AGA store, delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving commercial performance and developing a high-performing team.

This is more than a traditional retail management role. You'll bring the AGA brand to life through outstanding service, product demonstrations and events, creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for customers throughout their journey.

You'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of the store, combining strong people leadership with commercial focus and consistently high standards.

This is a store-based role and requires flexibility to work on a rota, including weekends and evenings.

The Role

As Store Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Brand Experience Specialists to deliver outstanding service and achieve commercial goals.
  • Driving store performance, including sales, lead conversion, customer satisfaction and other key KPIs.
  • Ensuring every customer receives a personalised, premium experience from their first visit through to purchase and beyond.
  • Bringing the AGA brand to life through product demonstrations, events and engaging in-store experiences.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of store presentation, visual merchandising and product displays.
  • Managing customer leads, follow-up activity, CRM records, forecasting and reporting.
  • Building relationships with local designers, architects, culinary partners and retailers to increase awareness and drive footfall.
  • Identifying opportunities for local events, collaborations and partnerships.
  • Managing day-to-day store operations, including rotas, opening and closing, cash handling, stock, deliveries and customer escalations.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, fire safety, food hygiene and other operational requirements.
  • Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams to provide a seamless customer journey.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven management experience within premium or luxury retail, hospitality or an experiential environment.
  • Strong people leadership skills and experience developing high-performing teams.
  • A track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience working with KPIs.
  • Experience managing day-to-day store operations.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence presenting, demonstrating products or hosting customer events.
  • A hands-on approach and pride in maintaining high standards.

Experience within home, kitchen, interiors or design-led retail would be an advantage, as would experience using CRM systems and managing longer customer journeys.

What you'll get in return;
  • Competitive salary
  • Retail and profit share bonus schemes
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • Company pension scheme
  • Life assurance
  • Staff discounts

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Store Manager who enjoys leading people, building customer relationships and creating memorable retail experiences to join AGA and represent an iconic British brand.
