About Your New Job

As the Stock Controller, you will:

  • Coordinate and execute scheduled stock cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor and minimise negative and aged stock, preparing and implementing stock management plans.
  • Work closely with management and sales teams to support stock optimization.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on inventory within internal computer systems.
  • Compile daily inventory reports, promptly addressing and correcting discrepancies.
  • Oversee stock levels in collaboration with the purchasing team across all branches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, upholding professional standards.
  • Drive and lead ongoing process improvements related to stock control.
  • Ensure that business requirements for stock levels are always met.
  • Provide administrative support to the financial and branch management teams and ensure best practice across all stock processes.
What Skills You Need
  • At least 3 years' experience in stock management.
  • Advanced knowledge of stock control processes and procedures.
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organised, energetic, and detail-oriented with the ability to anticipate, prioritise, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
