From our European headquarter in Amersfoort, we develop and produce innovative medical instruments for the European market and the MENAT area. Our third building on the industrial estate De Wieken was completed in September 2023. In that building, the sterilization of our products will take place. We are therefore looking for an Operator who will be tasked with monitoring the sterilization process and handling the material through the process. Until the system is up and running, you will be trained internally and externally so that you can carry out your work independently.
The internal title for this position is Sterilization Operator and you will report to a Sterilization Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Operates the ethylene oxide sterilization process and equipment
Perform physical inspection of all sterilization equipment and troubleshoot when necessary
Handling/moving products throughout the stages of the sterilization process
Verifying the configuration adequacy of incoming goods
Understand and comply with safety rules and company policies
Notify the Sterilization Engineer of issues with equipment
Document all steps in the sterilization process in accordance with established procedures
Keep machinery, work area, toolbox and floors neat and orderly
Ensures efficient shift transfer through effective communication
Functie-eisen:
Affinity with Technical systems (Such as large boilers, cars, or other complex equipment)
Communication skills in English
Ability to access and enter computerized data
Ability to work in 3-shifts
