Job Description

To thrive and succeed in this essential role, you: Demonstrate rigor and method while carefully adhering to hygiene and safety protocols. Have the necessary autonomy to manage your tasks while also enjoying teamwork in a spirit of collaboration and support. Additionally, having experience in a hospital environment or operating room is a significant advantage for this position. Hold a diploma: STE1 or CFC TDM X major, which is valued. You have a good command of the French language to easily communicate with teams and understand procedures. Maintain good physical condition, allowing you to remain standing and active throughout the day while executing your tasks effectively. Are available from 7 AM and some evenings for occasional needs. Accept to work according to the provided day schedule, which is flexible and organized to meet the needs. Provide a criminal record check dated within the last 3 months, as well as an up-to-date immunization record. Are a Swiss citizen or resident in Switzerland, holding a valid B or C permit. Whatever your skills, we are primarily looking for a motivated, caring person who is concerned about the quality of care and who will take pleasure in contributing to the well-being of patients and the smooth operation of the establishment every day. Your missions are varied and essential: from receiving to distributing medical devices, you directly contribute to the quality of care: Welcome and sort medical devices from various departments while ensuring their quality and safety. Clean and disinfect instruments carefully by applying protocols to protect and verify cleanliness; prepare for sterilization by packaging and precisely identifying each batch. During sterilization: Load and unload autoclaves, ensuring cycle compliance and the quality of each load; monitor machine parameters and check sterility to guarantee a safe environment for patients. After sterilization: Organize and store sterile devices to ensure they are easily accessible to care teams. Ensure complete traceability of all processes for maximum safety and impeccable follow-up. Distribute items to departments based on their needs, directly contributing to the quality of care and the well-being of patients.
