Sterile Services Technician (Bank)

Sterile Services Technician (Bank) - Circle Decontamination - Radlett Bank. Salary: Up to £14.42 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification). This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis. Shifts are weekdays and weekends from 14:00 to 22:00.

Responsibilities

• Provide first class decontamination sterile service to operating theatres, clinical departments and relevant paramedical departments.
• Assist in the provision of decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical and surgical equipment and sundry items to/for the customer.
• Maintain good working relationships with all customers.
• Promote and maintain health & safety within the department.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained to the required standard of safety, reporting any faults to Team Leader/Manager.
• Assist the Team Leaders in liaising with departments to ensure supply of items is maintained.
• Maintain the accepted Health & Safety requirements for the protection of staff and visitors.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
