Opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join ward 24 nursing team. Ward 24 is a 23 bedded general medicine ward. Applications welcomed from individuals who want to be part of a time delivering high standards of patient care. Newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply and full preceptorship programme will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, care planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care to a patient team following policies and procedures to ensure safe effective care is delivered.
• Undertaking risk assessments and necessary adjustments to reduce harm to patients in hospital.
• Supervision and support to colleagues and student nurses.
• Ensuring evidence based practice to ensure high quality care is delivered.
