Job Overview

A vacancy has arisen within Ward 31 Planned Care for a 1st level trained nurse. The successful candidate will join a motivated and dynamic multi disciplinary team dedicated to delivering the highest level of care. The role is based in Ward 31, a busy orthopaedic hip fracture ward.

Responsibilities

The nurse will provide patient care on Ward 31, working in an orthopaedic hip fracture setting and rotating across dayshift, nightshift and twilight shifts.

Qualifications

• 1st level trained nurse
• Good team player with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated with a real interest in orthopaedic nursing
• Experience in acute nursing desirable but not essential
• Must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme prior to appointment
