We are seeking a few Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team at Broadmoor High Security Hospital following a recent service review. The role involves providing high quality safe care to a complex patient group with challenging individual needs.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will carry out duties as designated by the nurse in charge and report on the patient's condition. They will maintain the orderliness, hygiene and safety of the ward environment and will be required to undertake routine clerical duties.

Person Specification Qualifications and Training- Registered Nurse Mental Health on NMC Register (sub part 1 RN3 or RNMH, sub part 2 RN4)
- Able to produce a current portfolio of evidence that conforms with the NMC Revalidation process and demonstrates compliance.
- Able to participate in a Preceptorship Programme.
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing
- ENB 770 or equivalent in Specialist Field
- NVQ Assessor
- Relevant post registration health care qualifications
- Leadership & Coaching Qualification
- General experience around mental health gained through a Nursing University Programme or work experience.
- Previous experience of working in a care environment.
- Evidence of being an Inspirational Leader.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and skills in mental health nursing practice and current trends within mental health nursing.
- Act in such a manner as outlined in the Code of Professional Conduct and which meets the requirements of the Mental Health Act.
- Maintain and demonstrate awareness of professional and organisational developments.
