Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates, providing staffing solutions for hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and community care settings across Ireland and abroad.
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our nursing team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to residents in West Dublin.
Responsibilities- Provide individualised resident care by recognising residents as individuals and ensuring their needs, comfort, and dignity are prioritised through personalised assessments and care plans.
- Coordinate, implement, and regularly review care plans (at least every three months) in collaboration with residents and the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional communication by liaising with the Nurse in Charge, residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and accurate documentation.
- Build positive relationships with residents and families, fostering a caring, welcoming, and safe nursing home environment.
- Maintain nursing documentation and care standards in line with professional, organisational, and quality assurance requirements.
- Participate in induction, training, and mentorship of staff while promoting continuous learning, reflective practice, and professional development.
- Act as a resource nurse, support clinical research initiatives, and apply evidence-based practices to improve standards of care.
- Engage in quality assurance programmes, audits, and initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.
- Supervise nursing and support staff, manage daily operations, and ensure the safe, organised, and efficient delivery of resident care.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, maintain confidentiality, manage emergencies, and promptly report incidents or risks
- Current live registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Eligibility to work in Ireland/EU, including a valid work permit or visa where applicable.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a relevant clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated clinical, administrative, and leadership abilities required to perform effectively in the role.
