Staff Nurse

Overview

Staff Nurse role in the Outpatient Department at Queen Margaret Hospital for a fixed term post or secondment of 20 months.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned tasks involving direct patient care.
• Support the smooth running of the department.
• Participate in learning and skill development after a period of supported learning.
• Work 33 hours per week, with a shift pattern that meets the needs of our busy acute settings.
• Provide flexibility to work across both acute sites.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work well within a team while using own initiative.
• Prior or current membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme before appointment.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Commitment to a 33 hour work week and shift pattern flexibility.
• Competent as a Staff Nurse (must possess the necessary nursing qualifications).
