Overview

Go back Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust - Staff Nurse role on Linhope Habilitation Ward, Secure Care Services at the Sycamore Unit, Northgate Park. The closing date is 26 March 2026.

Linhope Habilitation Ward is a 12 bedded ward providing specialist medium secure inpatient treatment for men with mental health and criminal justice considerations. The focus is to provide a period of habilitation as we prepare patients for rehabilitation and discharge into the community.

Main duties of the job
  • Act as a Primary/Named Nurse within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs-based care plans through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person-centred, evidence-based nursing care.
  • Be actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff and service users.
  • Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers, working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
  • Contribute to achieving all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes.
