Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust - Staff Nurse (Stroke Unit)

The Stroke Unit is looking for a successful candidate to work in our thriving and dynamic ward, providing stroke thrombolysis, patient centred care and supporting patients in their rehabilitation journey. The successful candidate will be a valuable member of the Stroke MDT and will have the opportunity to progress to Band 6 Stroke Responder when the post becomes available. The unit has 4 assessment beds, 6 hyper acute beds and 11 rehabilitation beds.

Main duties

• As a registered nurse, you will be personally accountable for your own practice and must adhere to NMC Standards of Practice, acting as an effective role model for all staff.
• Maintain your professional development and education, ensuring all mandatory training is up to date.
• Adhere to local Trust policy and guidelines, and local sickness reporting policy.

Person Specification - Essential

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• Completed Pre ceptorship Programme.
• Experience in Stroke specialty.
• Experience as a shift lead.
• Qualified mentor or equivalent.
• Registered Adult Nurse.
