Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to work in an outstanding-rated Trust? Shaston ward, based at Westminster Memorial Hospital, Shaftesbury, is seeking an experienced or newly qualified Staff Nurse to join our supportive team.

As a Staff Nurse, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a 15-bed ward providing sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation, and Palliative / End of Life care for the local and wider community. Our Elderly Rehabilitation and End of Life Care unit has achieved a nationally recognized accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care. Our team is a close-knit community, and we pride ourselves on going the extra mile.

This is a full-time role, but we are flexible and accept part-time applications with a minimum of 15 hours. We offer various flexible shifts:

• Early - 07:30 - 15:30
• Late - 12:30 - 20:30
• Nights - 20:15 - 07:45

Weekend and public holiday shifts are paid at an enhanced rate!

Main duties of the job

An interest in working with older people, along with good communication and organizational skills, is essential.

Person Specification Knowledge, Skills, and Training

• Experience of research or audit
• NMC Registration
• Teaching Qualification or willingness to undertake one
• Knowledge of current developments in nursing
