Cove Ward is a 15-bed acute older persons mental health unit, treating functional mental health conditions in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

This is an exciting and emerging specialty where we treat patients who present with functional mental health issues and are clinically frail, with a variety of complex physical comorbidities.

Cove Ward is developing innovative and quality improvement programmes, to provide high quality patient centred care. We are currently on our journey to obtain national accreditation and the post holder will have the opportunity to partake in quality improvement programmes in addition to their clinical care delivery. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals who wish to join us on our journey to excellence.
