Staff Mixed-Signal Design Engineer Job Duties and Responsibilities As a Staff Mixed-Signal Design Engineer within the Advanced Cores Group (ACG) you will work on the development of ADC, DAC, and/or SerDes PHY subsystems for highly sophisticated mixed-signal system-on-chip (SoC) integrated circuit products using FinFET wafer technologies. The Advanced Cores Group develops innovative, state of the art, high-performance circuits as often shown by presentations at premier conferences and publications in premier journals. Your work will include: Evaluating alternative mixed-signal subsystem implementation architectures. Designing challenging transistor-level mixed-signal integrated circuits. Preparing effective design documents and conduct effective design reviews. Guiding mixed-signal integrated circuit layout. Guiding mixed-signal integrated circuit evaluation and test. Qualifications MS Electrical Engineering. 7+ years of mixed-signal integrated circuit development experience. Strong understanding of data converter architectures and specifications and/or deep understanding of SerDes PHY architectures and specifications Deep understanding of mixed-signal design fundamentals, design tools, and methodologies. Solid understanding of integrated circuit product development, including design, verification, evaluation, test, and qualification. Successful experience developing challenging mixed-signal integrated circuits for commercial applications. Strong technical leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
