An exciting opportunity for a Staff Mechanical Engineer to join a growing and innovative company in Spain at the forefront of satellite technology.

In this role, you will take the lead on mechanical and structural subsystems for satellite designs, playing a key role in the design, analysis, and evaluation of space hardware. You'll be involved in the full engineering lifecycle, from concept through to development, documentation, and testing at both system and payload equipment levels.

Key Responsibilities as the Staff Mechanical Engineer:

• Design and model mechanical/structural components of electronic space equipment.
• Perform analysis and evaluation of mechanical subsystems, with a focus on stress and dynamics.
• Develop and maintain mechanical/structural design documentation.
• Conduct or support vibration and acoustic testing of aerospace flight hardware.

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience in mechanical/structural design and analysis of spacecraft or equivalent high-reliability applications.
• Strong technical skills in stress and dynamic analysis, including Finite Element Modelling (FEM) using industry tools such as ANSYS.
• Knowledge and/or experience of vibration and acoustic testing for aerospace or spaceflight hardware.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
