Job Description 
Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire. On-site, Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
Role and Responsibilities- Perform all levels of geotechnical testing on soil and rock samples to the highest standards.
- Ensure high-quality data delivery by accurately recording and calculating test results using spreadsheets and digital tools.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure equipment is functioning optimally for precise testing outcomes.
- Collaborate with team leaders to ensure timely completion of testing projects and raise concerns proactively.
- Assist in processing and reviewing test data before client submission.
- Uphold Fugro's commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Support the lab's ISO 17025 accreditation by maintaining rigorous quality standards.
- Contribute to innovation by helping develop new testing methods and participating in R&D initiatives.
- Good general education including 5+ GCSEs (or equivalent), with English, Maths, and Science.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with proficiency in Excel and other data tools.
- Passion for learning and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment is desirable but not essential.
