The Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Tech team is at the heart of Amazon's transportation network, supporting scalable, innovative, and cost-effective delivery operations globally. Responsibilities

• As a Sr SDE, demonstrate expertise in full-stack software development, including customer-facing applications and backend services essential for efficient last-mile delivery operations.
• Build solutions that help DSPs and Amazon enhance vehicle safety and compliance, and optimize vehicle maintenance and utilization to reduce total cost of operations.
• Own the overall architecture of Last Mile Fleet tech team owned systems, ensuring the team delivers solutions that address customer requirements and business use cases.
• Make critical decisions on architectural components, technology choices, and design patterns, and promote engineering best practices in design forums.
• Collaborate with the SDM to adopt best practices for operational and engineering excellence; resolve disagreements through inclusive, constructive dialogue with team members and related teams.
• Contribute to shaping the future of global logistics and positively impact Amazon's operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience in at least one programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
