RESPONSIBILITIES

• Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Data Modeling: Design and develop efficient data models using Power BI, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
• Report Development: Create, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business needs and provide actionable insights.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, cloud services) into Power BI, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
• Dashboard Design: Develop visually appealing and user friendly dashboards that effectively communicate complex data insights.
• Data Visualization: Implement advanced data visualization techniques to highlight key trends, patterns, and outliers.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure quick loading times and responsiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary improvements to reports and dashboards.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data sources, and data models.
• Innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the BI reporting landscape.
• Security and Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and implement appropriate security measures to protect sensitive data.

REQUIREMENTS

• Five-year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ Years of experience developing Power BI reports, DAX in Power BI desktop and Service
• 5+ Years of experience developing in M language (Power Query Code)
• 5+ Years of technical background in analytical and BI roles
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts
• Excellent data visualization and design skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and to work and connect with a wide variety of teams
• Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish
