Sr. oracle developer

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Oracle database full life cycle development including data modelling, database architecture, SQL and PL/SQL development, unit testing and support.
• Contribute in the architecture and implementation of changes across our product base.
• Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements.
• Collaborate heavily with fellow developers, designers and analysts to solve problems.
• Create and improve existing reusable database objects.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries to maximize speed and scale.
• Set and follow coding standards.

Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum of 7 years of experience developing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing ETL or ETL solutions.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Oracle Forms.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Pro C.
• Experience using PVCS, JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
• Experience using GIT and SubVersion is preferred.
• Experience developing JAVA EE applications is a plus.
