Job Description

AWS India Pvt Ltd (AWS India) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world-class candidates to join our enterprise business.

Key job responsibilities

Migration & Modernization to AWS Cloud is a strategic priority for us. These are large, complex assignments that take many months to execute and require dedicated focus. The person needs to be able to open conversations with CXOs, explaining the benefits of migration, how it frees up time and budgets for innovation, the challenges, how to meet them, and what competitors are doing. They need to bring in the right resources from solutions architecture, cloud economics, and partners to build a business case, a high-level cloud roadmap, and identify initial targets for POCs. After that, they will facilitate POC execution, detailed migration planning, and engage with partners and professional services. Once contracts are in place, they will coordinate handovers and continue to support customers in becoming references. Throughout, they will work closely with business development teams to track progress and escalate issues. The role primarily covers the west/south regions of India with occasional travel, reporting to the migration BD leader.

A day in the life

You will own the Migration and Modernization Business in your region, engaging with sales leaders to develop strategic plans, identifying target workloads, and supporting account planning. You will lead customer workshops, assessments, and develop migration strategies aligned with business goals. You will produce proposals highlighting AWS differentiation and coordinate with cross-functional teams to accelerate workload migration.

The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team drives revenue and growth across various market segments. The AWS Support team partners with customers building mission-critical applications on AWS, emphasizing world-class support for success.

Minimum Requirements
  • 6+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
  • 6+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies influencing leadership decisions
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and processes
  • Experience interpreting data for business recommendations
  • Experience negotiating complex legal agreements
  • Experience influencing stakeholders
