Sr. FinOps Analyst - AR, Credit and Rebill Team

Amazon is seeking a motivated and analytical Credit and Rebill Specialist to join our Ads Credit and Rebill team. The role involves conducting comprehensive Credit & Rebill assessments for Amazon Ads businesses, including data-related evaluations. The candidate will engage in high-judgment decision-making and interact regularly with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure sound and well-understood decisions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for process innovation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment. The position requires autonomy and the capacity to work efficiently under demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the process to ensure accurate and timely invoice generation, coordinating with other teams to resolve issues.
2. Evaluate credit and rebill requests.
3. Understand Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable processes.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders (Billing, Finance, Legal, Tax, Customer Service) to resolve disputes and queries, maintaining good client relationships both internally and externally.
5. Address client inquiries and discrepancies, working with internal teams to identify and rectify errors.
6. Train and support the billing team on software tools.
7. Evaluate claims for accuracy and legitimacy.
8. Create and adjust bills as needed.
9. Reissue corrected documents to customers.
10. Keep stakeholders informed of process updates and issues.
11. Proficiency in SQL queries is advantageous.
12. Work with large datasets to generate insights.
13. Identify process defects and perform root cause analysis.
14. Prepare test cases, and conduct UAT and PVT testing.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce ().
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable, accounts receivable (collections), or general ledger roles.
