Genuine passion for leveraging AI in test automation (beyond checkbox experience-curiosity, experimentation, and eagerness to learn are key)

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automated test solutions for web and mobile applications

Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright and Appium

Write readable, reusable, and reliable test code

Investigate test failures, analyze results, and identify root causes

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to assess test coverage and quality risks

Review automation code and promote best practices across the team

Improve test stability, execution speed, and maintainability

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Provide clear and actionable quality signals to support release decisions

Required Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in test automation or software quality engineering

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright

Strong hands-on experience with Appium

Strong interest in applying AI to test automation workflows

Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs)

Experience testing modern web and mobile applications

Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codex

Basic understanding of how context, prompts, and tool-assisted workflows influence AI output

Familiarity with emerging approaches such as MCP or agent-based tooling
