SQL Database Administrator/German speaking/90 Euros per hour

Endeavour Recruitment has an urgent freelance opportunity for a Fluent German speaking SQL DBA to join a leading client ASAP.

Remote with occasional visits to client site in Linz.

Initial contract duration: 6 months

Project description:

A freelancer is urgently needed for MS SQL database migration as part of an ongoing migration project related to the S/4HANA transition.

Migration of existing MS SQL databases (source = 100% MS SQL, target system = MS SQL)

Duties:

• Support with design, deep dive analysis, and technical implementation
• Development of migration strategies for ~20 modules
• Interface integration (eg, with Mendix, PowerBI, Snowflake)
• Close coordination with internal architects and project management
• Participation in workshops (analysis, target vision, handover)
• Documentation and support with testing

Profile

• Excellent knowledge of MS SQL & database migrations
• Experience with different data logics and target architectures
• Fluent German (spoken and written - project communication is in German)
• Experience in complex migration scenarios (ideally with S/4 relevance)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Experience in hybrid project environments (onsite/remote)
• Willingness to travel to Linz for workshops
