Job Description
Our client is a well-respected fire systems installer who are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver fire sprinkler installation projects safely, on time, within budget, and in line with customer and regulatory requirements, based in and around the Manchester area.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage projects from handover through to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, design teams, and site personnel.
• Develop and maintain project programmes and cost forecasts.
• Manage labour, materials, subcontractors, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and industry standards.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and support audits.
• Identify and manage project variations, final accounts, and commercial performance.
• Oversee project close-out including certification, O&M manuals, and as-fitted drawings.
Requirements
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of BS EN 12845 and LPS 1048 standards.
• LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 and Site Inspection Module 1 (or equivalent competency).
• SMSTS and CSCS card holder.
• Strong understanding of CDM regulations and project management principles.
• Experience managing site-based labour and resources.
• Commercially aware with strong cost control skills.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
