Spray Painter

Futures are working with a well-established manufacturing business, I am currently seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join a growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Our client is a respected manufacturing organisation supplying high-quality products across multiple sectors. Due to continued growth and increased demand, they are expanding their finishing department and looking to secure a skilled Spray Painter who takes pride in delivering high standards of work.

As Spray Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and applying finishes to manufactured components in line with production schedules and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming
• Mixing paints and coatings to required specifications
• Operating spray painting equipment (e.g., airless, conventional, HVLP systems)
• Applying coatings evenly and efficiently to meet quality standards
• Inspecting finished products to ensure consistency and high-quality finish
• Carrying out minor touch-ups and rectification work as required
• Maintaining spray booths, tools, and equipment
• Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times, including proper PPE usage
• Working collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Spray Painter within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of different paint types, coatings, and application techniques
• Ability to read and interpret job sheets and technical instructions
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to overtime when required
• Experience working with metal, fabricated parts, or industrial components
• Knowledge of powder coating processes
• Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship
