Salary: £28,500 - £34,500 per annum

Think FE are working with a well-established land based college in Northamptonshire with excellent sports and outdoor facilities to recruit a Lecturer in Sport.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching to students studying sport-related Further Education programmes
• Act as a course tutor for groups of students, providing academic and pastoral support
• Monitor attendance, progress, and achievement while maintaining accurate student records
• Support students with career development and work placement opportunities
• Contribute to curriculum development to ensure courses meet industry demands
• Participate in internal verification and quality assurance processes
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion across all teaching activities
• Represent the college at recruitment events such as open days and careers fairs

What We're Looking For

• Experience teaching or training within sport, fitness, or a related discipline
• A relevant qualification in sport or sport studies
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A genuine commitment to supporting students and improving outcomes
