Working 18.5 Hours Per Week, Monday: 1.30pm -7.15pm, Tuesday: 6.45am-12.30noon,Wednesday: 2.45pm-9.45pm

Are you someone who enjoys working in sport, keeping facilities running smoothly and making every visitor feel welcome?

You may currently work in a leisure centre, gym, sports facility or customer service role, where you help people get the most from their visit. You are organised, confident dealing with enquiries and happy to turn your hand to practical tasks. You take pride in creating a clean, safe environment and know how much difference good customer service makes.

As a Sports Operative at Bishop Burton College, you will help coordinate the use of our sports facilities by students, staff, partner clubs and commercial customers. Your day could include preparing equipment for a booking, conducting a gym induction, supporting a match day or handling membership and booking enquiries. You will also carry out routine facility checks and work with colleagues to keep activities running safely and efficiently.

You will bring recent experience in sport, leisure or customer service, alongside a good understanding of sport and fitness. Strong communication and IT skills will help you work with a wide range of users. A Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification would be valuable, as would first aid training or a willingness to achieve it.

At Bishop Burton, you will join a team that supports Sports Academy training, competitive fixtures and wider community use of the College's facilities. The department works with professional organisations, including Hull City AFC, Hull FC and Lincoln City FC. It is an opportunity to use your practical and people skills in a busy sporting environment where every day brings something different.
