About the Role

An independent boarding school in the Wolverhampton area is looking for a Sports & Boarding Graduate to join the team for an immediate start.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who enjoys sport and working with young people. The role combines work in the Sports Department with boarding and pastoral duties.

Hours & Duties

• 14-16 hours per week working in the Sports Department.

• Four evening boarding duties per week.

• One weekend boarding duty every three weeks.

• Some Saturday sports fixtures.

• Support pupils with sport, activities and prep.

• Help supervise and support boarding pupils.

• Promote good behaviour, punctuality and positive relationships.

• Support the wellbeing, health and safety of pupils.

• Help with boarding house activities and trips.

• Communicate with the Housemaster/Housemistress about any pastoral or pupil concerns.

• Support pupils with their studies and act as a mentor where required.

• Attend meetings, training and INSET sessions as required.

• Is interested in developing a career in sport, education or boarding.

DBS and safeguarding checks will be required.
