Splunk Expert

Are you a seasoned Splunk expert looking for your next long-term challenge in a dynamic infrastructure environment? Our client is looking for a Splunk Enterprise System Administrator to support and enhance its observability and monitoring capabilities.

What You'll Do:

• Install, configure, and maintain Splunk Enterprise environments.
• Onboard, parse, and index data from diverse sources.
• Develop and fine-tune SPL queries for analytics and insights.
• Design dashboards and reporting tools tailored to business needs.
• Set up monitoring and alerts to ensure data integrity and system health.
• Perform performance tuning of Splunk deployments.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python, Bash, or other scripting tools.
• Integrate Splunk with other platforms such as SIEM, ITSM, and more.
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Stay current with the latest features in Splunk and related technologies.

Your Profile:

• 3+ years of experience in Splunk Enterprise administration and support.
• Proven expertise in SPL, dashboarding, alerting, and monitoring.
• Skilled in scripting (Python or Bash) and automation practices.
• Experience in cluster management and distributed Splunk setups.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Core Certified User/Admin) are a plus.

Languages:

• Active knowledge of French or Dutch (with passive understanding of the other).
