Splash Pad Attendant - Casual - The West Green

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Splash Pad Attendant to help deliver a fun, safe and welcoming experience for all guests. This role is responsible for the daily operation, safety, cleanliness and supervision of the splash pad facility, as well as supporting surrounding outdoor areas.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the splash pad to ensure guest safety rule compliance and a welcoming environment
- Respond to incidents, accidents and emergencies in a prompt professional manner
- Complete daily opening/closing inspections and routine cleaning of the splash pad and surrounding areas
- Monitor water quality, equipment, pumps, water features and interceptor tank, reporting faults as needed
- Maintain the volleyball and pétanque courts and complete daily logs, checklists and basic records
Hours: Casual hours, as and when needed.
The splash pad operates seasonally from March to October.
Requirements- NPLQ Qualification (training can be provided)
- Willingness to gain First Aid qualification
- Willingness to complete a Pool Plant Operators course - training will be provided
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong sense of responsibility with attention to safety and detail
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Previous experience in leisure facilities, pools or outdoor attractions
- Experience assisting with the public including children and families
- Basic maintenance or cleaning experience
- Interest in water safety or facility operations
