Speech and LanguageTherapist

KT Healthcare is a family-owned healthcare provider specialising in neurodevelopmental services, mentalhealthand brain injury rehabilitation. We work closely with local authorities,schoolsand families to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that makes a genuine difference.

We are looking for an experiencedSpeech and Language Therapistto join our Therapies team, assessinga young person in York.

This is an excellent opportunity to deliver specialist speech and language therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team, helping a young person with complex communication needs to develop functional communication skills, increase independence and thrive within their educational environment.

The Role

Deliver 3-hourinitialassessment with report (non EHCNA)

Promote an inclusive approach

Maintainaccurateclinical records, liaise with the wider multidisciplinaryteamand produce report asrequired

About You
  • ADHD
  • Developmental Coordination Disorder
  • LanguageDisordereffecting receptive and expressive language skills
  • Challenges with inference and verbal reasoning
  • Difficulties producing multisyllable words accurately
  • Social communication challenges
  • Movementseekingand lackofmaintainingattention
  • Needs verbal prompts to complete daily activities
What We Offer
  • £70 per hour
  • £40 per hour travel time
  • 55p per mile mileage
  • Flexible working arrangements agreed between the therapist, school,familyand young person.
