Salary: £47,810 to £54,710 a year (Pro Rata). Permanent contract. Part time, flexible working, home or remote working.
Job ResponsibilitiesYou will work closely with the onsite Regional Fetal Medicine team and the lead Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. You will support the assessment and care of women with high risk pregnancies. You will deliver a high standard of obstetric ultrasound examinations, prioritise requests and interpret scans to provide independent diagnostic reports.
- Deliver specialist obstetric ultrasound scanning and reporting.
- Provide a comprehensive, independent diagnostic report and make the appropriate diagnosis.
- Interpret scans and respond appropriately to distressed patients and staff.
- Arrange training, induction and continuing professional development.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound.
- Appropriate professional registration (e.g. HCPC, RCT, NMC).
- Relevant degree or equivalent.
- Experience in an ultrasound department and teaching/mentoring.
- Quality assurance and audit experience.
- Leadership or management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development, audit, research or local study.
