WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTIn our unit, we are the global focal point of contact for all export control issues such as dual-use, export, or sanctions to ensure trade compliance. The position is available either in Frankfurt or Münster.
- In your new role, you conduct sanctions and embargo screenings in accordance with UN, EU, US and other relevant regulations.
- You perform impact assessments and risk evaluations to ensure compliance with sanctions-related requirements.
- Additionally, you assess material classifications in SAP with regard to their embargo relevance.
- Furthermore, you develop and implement internal processes to ensure adherence to applicable embargo measures.
- You monitor and report on embargo-related activities and provide training to Trade Control Officers.
- Lastly, you represent the company in industry associations (e.g., VCI) and actively build up external networks.
- university degree in business administration, natural sciences or a comparable field
- several years of professional experience in embargo and sanctions regulations
- excellent understanding of supply chain operations and process management
- strong communication skills in English, able to explain complex topics to stakeholders and leadership
- solid IT skills and strong interest in digitalizing compliance processes
