We have two positions available, full time or part time considered. Must be able to work between the hours of 9am to 5pm. Days to be agreed but to include a Monday and Friday. Please state your preference for full time/part time in your application.
We are looking for compassionate and adaptable people who can provide high-quality administrative support to the Public Health Nursing services in the community. The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive administrative support to deliver quality patient care.
Proposed interview date: 24th July 2026
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will undertake a wide range of secretarial and administrative tasks, including having personal responsibility for a number of delegated tasks.
To work unsupervised, adhering to operational procedures and established practice, referring to the Administration Supervisor for guidance when needed. Work on own initiative to prioritise administrative tasks to ensure an effective and efficient running of the team.

Job responsibilitiesWorking as part of a team ensuring that the daily administration tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.The post holder will be flexible in order to meet the requirements of the serviceTo communicate with professionals and the general public with tact and sensitivity.Follow the Standard Operational Procedures for duties delegated to you. Not all duties are routine, and you will need to use your knowledge, experience and understanding to take decisions within your area of responsibility and be confident in escalating situations promptly when needed.
Always maintain patient privacy and dignity in the delivery of compassionate and personalised care.Maintain accurate records relating to communication with patients, relatives, and members of the Multidisciplinary team regarding all aspects of care demonstrating a range of appropriate communication skills, written and verbal.Uphold Trust values.

Person Specification Qualifications and Training- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths; GCSE A - C or 4-9
- Care Certificate or City and Guilds 3 or NVQ3 or BTEC National Diploma or equivalent experience
- Confident and competent use of Microsoft Office and relevant administrative systems
- Experience of working within a team.
- Experience in administrative roles, ideally within health or public sector services.
- Experience managing confidential records and awareness of information governance
- Experience of SystmOne
- Organisational skills to include time management, record keeping, Ability to prioritise and to be able to work flexibly and autonomously to meet the needs of the service
- Resilience and professionalism when dealing with challenging situations.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)

£25,760 to £27,476 per annum pro rata
