We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated Sous Chef to join our small team in a busy seaside village pub/restaurant/hotel. The Olde Ship Inn at Seahouses is currently seeking a Sous Chef to provide support with the day to day running of the kitchen. A positive attitude and the ability to mix well with staff and guests is more important as full training will be given. Full time position. Driving is essential due to location.

Assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the day to day operations.
Contribute to GP, wages, menu ideas, cost saving and sales.
Be responsible for the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.
Lead by example and offer training and coaching where needed.
Set up food and serving areas
Maintain a high standard of hygiene & cleanliness throughout the kitchen, storage areas and surrounding work spaces.
Use the correct tools and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with deliveries unloading and checking delivery notes.
Assist with food ordering and planning.

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Experience:
Chef: 2 years (preferred)
