Sous Chef

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the kitchen alongside the Head Chef, ensuring smooth, organised and high quality service
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to company standards with consistency, flavour and food safety
• Support menu development, tastings, seasonal launches and collaboration with the Deli Team
• Coach and develop the kitchen team, supporting onboarding, training and strong FOH relationships
• Oversee stock control, ordering, portioning, waste reduction and cost awareness
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant kitchen, supporting audits, allergen management and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Calm, organised service under pressure with great communication
• Strong understanding of food safety, allergens and modern kitchen practices
• A positive, team focused approach and high personal hygiene standards
• Seafood experience is a bonus - enthusiasm to learn is just as valuable

Pay & Recognition

• £16.50-£17 per hour depending on experience
• Customer tips averaging around £2 per hour
