Sous Chef The White Hart Royal - Moreton-in-Marsh, Cotswolds Join a Historic Cotswolds Kitchen with a Modern Edge

We're looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at The White Hart Royal, a beautifully restored 17th century coaching inn in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Part of the award winning Coaching Inn Group, our hotel blends rich heritage with contemporary hospitality-delivering "hospitality from the heart" in everything we do.

Our menus celebrate modern British cuisine, using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, crafted with care and creativity by a passionate kitchen team.

The Role

As Sous Chef, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen operation, supporting the Head Chef in delivering consistently exceptional food across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

You will:

• Support day to day kitchen leadership and service
• Drive high standards in food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Help develop seasonal menus showcasing local produce
• Train, mentor, and inspire junior chefs
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Take ownership of service in the Head Chef's absence

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a quality fresh food environment
• Passion for modern British cuisine and seasonal cooking
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Calm, organised approach in a fast paced service
• A genuine love for hospitality and guest experience
