Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development and special events.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency and quality.

Skills
Strong background in hospitality with experience in a restaurant setting.
Proven team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff.
Excellent culinary skills, including food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within the team.
