Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled sous chef to join our dedicated kitchen team at our charming hotel in Banbridge, Co. Down. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-quality food preparation, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine love for cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist in menu planning, ingredient selection, and daily specials.
Oversee and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive environment.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Contribute to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation during service times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Weekend availability is essential.
Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent communication skills.
